Rafaella Constantinou

Rafaella Constantinou was born in 1991 in Paphos, Cyprus. She holds a BA at Athens School of Fine Arts and an MFA in Public and New Artistic Strategies at the Bauhaus Universität Weimar, Germany.

Constantinou studies the urban fabric through observation, research, and an archaeological line of documentation. Her artistic practice delves into a range of dipoles as presence-absence, appropriation-reappropriation, construction-deconstruction; the stepping stone for the engagement and appropriation for her in situ practice are the stimuli deriving from the philosophical understanding of space and the sociopolitical aspect that frames it.

She has participated in various group exhibitions in Cyprus, Greece, Germany, UK and Luxembourg.
